This movie is BEAUTIFUL!!!! And if that scene where Ms. Giddens holds a candelabra while descending a flight of stairs in a white nightgown seems a tad too familiar, well here’s why:

Yup. This beautiful movie had been an inspiration of Del Toro for his also beautiful film Crimson Peak. 🙂

New favorite!!!! God Bless this movie, the great Guillermo del Toro, the cast, the production team! But most of all, God bless the house and its whole movie visuals!

Here’s the cast + Guillermo del Toro w/ Stephen Colbert. 🙂

Here’s a lovely read about the movie: Crimson Peak isn’t a horror movie. It’s a ghost story. Yes, they’re different.
